FuboTV Channels 2019: Get Sports without Cable!

The other week our family drove down to watch our favorite college football team play their spring game. On the drive back, we began to game plan how we would watch their games this season. I wondered if any FuboTV channels would air our team’s games.

Living outside of our team’s local TV network means we can’t use our digital antenna to get games for free. Signing an expensive cable contract wasn’t an option.

Cable or satellite contracts used to be the only way to watch live sports on TV. Not anymore. Many streaming services make it possible to catch all your team’s games.

One of the best streaming services for sports fans is FuboTV. For all the details, check out our FuboTV review.

Here, we dive into the basics of what FuboTV costs and the FuboTV channel list.

FuboTV Channels Cost

When it started, FuboTV channels were mostly dedicated to sports. Today, the FuboTV channel guide has expanded to include news and entertainment content.

Like other popular services, you can stream FuboTV channels in various packages. You can also sign up for add-ons to get the games you want most. Here are the two FuboTV channel packages:

  • FuboTV Basefor $44.99 per month, you get 80+ live channels. No hidden fees. No contract. Cancel any time free of charge.
  • FuboTV Extrafor $49.99 per month, you get 107+ channels.

With all these channels, it’s likely that FuboTV has the content you want.

FuboTV Channels List

As you may have gathered from the above section, FuboTV channels are quite plentiful. FuboTV broadened its content to be more like SlingTV, Hulu Live, and other popular options.

While you still get plenty of sports, the FuboTV channel list also includes HGTV, History Channel, just to name a few.

Within the sporting world, FuboTV may offer the broadest selection of sports channels. You can watch everything from cycling and soccer to football and more on FuboTV.

FuboTV Local Channels

If you’re looking at FuboTV channels, one question you likely have is, ‘can I get local channels on Fubo?’ The answer is, yes. Exactly which local channels you get depends on where you live.

You could get CBS, Fox, and NBC. You won’t get ABC. If you want local channels, the best way to get them is with a digital antenna. We bought a Mohu Leaf digital antenna on Amazon for $40. A reasonable one-time cost gets us all the major local networks for free.

Does FuboTV Have A DVR?

If you’re considering cutting the cord but don’t want to give up your DVR, don’t worry. FuboTV comes with a cloud-based DVR. The best part? It’s absolutely free.

Other streaming services charge an extra $5 or more per month for a DVR. FuboTV lets you record up to 30 hours of content for free.

You can also upgrade to the Advanced DVR for $10 per month. That will get you up to 500 hours of recording capacity.

If you want to record a lot of games, the Advanced DVR option might help you make the most of your FuboTV channels.

The FuboTV channels list has 80+ channels to get your favorite sports action. Our FuboTV channel guide shows how to save $50+ per month on your cable bill.

FuboTV Channel List: Final Take

If you’re looking for an affordable way to watch sports without cable, FuboTV is a reasonable option. At $44.99 per month, FuboTV is in line with other streaming services, yet offers more diversity.

Its inclusion of entertainment and news content makes FuboTV a great choice for families too. The included DVR is a nice bonus. FuboTV plays nice with all the major streaming platforms, making it an excellent all-around replacement for cable.
